- VELUX Česká republika, s.r.o.. SSL solar roller shutter by the magazine Häuser modernisieren. Voted by the readership in four categories kitchen, bath, home automation and extension/finishing. The SSLwas predefined among several products in category extension/finishing and voted most innovative in the category.
- Recognition to VELUX at Bratislava (Slovak Republic) exhibition CONECO in recognition of the solar powered blinds and shutters.
- ECO-TROPHEES BOIS awarded to VELUX at the Batimat exhibition in France in recognition of its environmental efforts in the production of wooden windows and the efforts to obtain environmental certification of the production process.

- The Red Dot Design Award to VELUX by Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Germany in recognition of the S21 roller shutter.
- Award by Kolding Municipality to VELUX in recognition of outstanding building in connection with a new warehouse. The award was presented for successful adaptation of a large building into the surroundings.

1999
- FE VELUX Roof Windows. Diploma for the development of the Olympic sports in Belarus. Issued by the President of Olympic Committee of Belarus. (Alexander Zhugin) VELUX Rossia ZAO was acting on the market at the time. We donated VELUX roof windows to the building for Olympic sportsmen.
