Network and collaborations

We have a long tradition of cooperating with universities and research centres. We collaborate with leading academics to create a solid understanding of how windows and other building components contribute to the performance of buildings, especially in terms of energy use, health and productivity implications for residents.

We welcome new research in the above fields, and are interested in collaboration, particularly in relation to:

  • The effects of daylight, thermal comfort and indoor air quality on health and wellbeing
  • The effects of daylight/darkness, temperatures and indoor air quality on sleep quality
  • The costs to society of unhealthy building – and the role of daylight and indoor climate

Since 2005, these are some of the institutions we have been privileged to work with:

  • Oxford university, UK
  • Cambridge university, UK
  • University of La Rochelle, France
  • National Research Canada (NRC), Canada
  • Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Denmark
  • Ecofys, Germany
  • Fraunhofer IBP, Germany
  • IBR&I, Austria
  • BBRI, Belgium
