The values have grown naturally through our history and reflect some fundamental attitudes that have applied throughout the years.
The values are deeply anchored in our organisation and radiate from within. They cannot be invented – either they are there and are accepted by all our employees, or they are meaningless.
They are reflected in our fundamental attitudes that have been vital for the VELUX Group’s development. They express our way of working in relation to each other as colleagues and with our customers and the world around us. It is characteristic of VELUX that the task and its solution are in focus – it is not what you are that counts, but what you do.
Progress depends on a joint eff ort and teamwork. The good argument has shown the way for many years and will also in future be of decisive importance for ensuring optimum solutions, and it is still true that “one experiment is better than a thousand expert views”. That expression is still used in our everyday life at work and in many connections.
Both as a company and as individuals, we attach importance to not promising more than we can keep, but to trying to keep more than we promise. In all our activities we attach importance to using resources with care.
