The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) is committed to promoting sustainable forest management through independent third party forest certification.
In 2008 VELUX obtained PEFC chain of custody certification for 24 warehousing facilities, VELUX A/S and a number of sales companies. The certification is proof that traceability of a product to its origin is guaranteed and that it can be documented that the timber used comes from sustainable forests. |
Our certified factories are controlled by an independent third party who verifies on an ongoing basis that we live up to the requirements in the standard.
