With the VELUX Code of Conduct we want to encourage commitment to responsible manufacturing between VELUX and our suppliers.
The purpose of the Code of Conduct is to make sure that all our products are manufactured in a way that characterises us as a company acting responsible in relation to all of our stakeholders.
We aim to establish long-lasting relationships with our suppliers to our mutual benefit and when signing the code of conduct we want to have a constructive dialogue with our suppliers as part of the implementation process.
The VELUX Group has set up the target of having at least 95% of all its product-related suppliers sign the VELUX Code of Conduct.
We expect this goal to be reached in 2011. At the end of 2010, 85% of our product-related suppliers had signed the VELUX Code of Conduct for suppliers.
