In the VELUX Group, we are firmly committed to doing our business lawfully and ethically. Everyday, we strive to live up to our Model Company Objective, treating our customers, colleagues and surroundings a little bit better than others. Sometimes, however, an objective is not enough to know how to maneuver and behave exemplary in a complex organization and surrounding.

The Modern Slavery Act

As a global company with operations all over the world, we are committed to respecting human rights including the principles set forth in the International Bill of Rights and the Core Labour Conventions of the ILO. We take care to avoid infringing the rights of individuals, groups and communities through our business activities and relationships.

CSR & Sustainability Policies

The VELUX Group CSR & Sustainability Policies provide high-level guidance on how we conduct business. The policies are built on the ten principles of the UN Global Compact and they guide us in our daily activities

Anti-corruption

The VELUX Group applies a zero-tolerance approach to corruption. Our Anti-Corruption Policy guides employees in their everyday work. The policy requires management to ensure that bribery does not occur, to formulate local guidelines for receipt of gifts and entertainment and to avoid facilitation payment.

We are committed to respecting human rights including principles set forth in the International Bill of Human Rights and the Core Labour Conventions of the ILO. We take care to avoid infringing the rights of individuals, groups and communities through our business activities and relationships. The work with human rights goes beyond our own activities and we set high standards for suppliers as regards human rights, labour rights, working conditions and con-discrimination policies.

Chemical compliance for suppliers

The VELUX Group has issued the VELUX Restricted Substance Management Standard to ensure that we and our Suppliers fully meet applicable legal requirements regarding chemicals used in VELUX materials and products.
