A fixer-upper in every sense of the word

It was completely gutted to start over with a clean slate. We wanted to knock down the living room wall to create a convivial, open kitchen / living area. The attic was unfinished. Florent Weil, who managed the renovations and alterations on the house, proposed using this space for a master bedroom suite and two children’s rooms, creating a total of 60 m² of floor space. The owners’ dream bathroom is fully open onto their sleeping area, complete with a clawfoot tub.  The master suite is lit by two roof windows.
