Our Sustainability Strategy 2030 is called ‘It’s our nature’

Launched in 2020, our sustainability strategy is a 10-year transformational journey in which we pioneer climate and nature action, innovate sustainable products and secure a responsible business.

Why? Because the world needs it and it is who we are. It’s simply the right thing to do and it’s our nature!

The VELUX Sustainability Strategy 2030 is our roadmap for the 'decade of action'. It significantly transforms the way we do business and the products and solutions that we bring to market. It helps us keep our own house in order and involves many employees and not least our supply chain.

Our pioneering commitment is to become Lifetime Carbon Neutral by 2041. This means taking responsibility for both our past and future carbon emissions.

It's our nature

Our strategy is a house

Secure a responsible business
This is the foundation for our strategy house. We will secure a responsible business for more diverse, inclusive, safe, healthy and innovative ways of working. We must keep our own house in order and live up to our Model Company Objective.

Innovate sustainable products
This is the core of our strategy house. We will innovate sustainable products to create better indoor spaces for people and to care for the environment.

Pioneer climate and nature action
This is the top of our strategy house. We will pioneer climate and nature action to become Lifetime Carbon Neutral and showcase sustainable buildings and communities.
