Dynamic simulation software and VELUX products
Our goal is that new buildings and major renovations are designed with daylight and fresh air in focus. For more than 10 years the VELUX Group has worked with and developed dynamic building simulation tools. The VELUX Daylight Visualizer has set the standard for user-friendly daylight calculations since 2006 and the VELUX Energy and Indoor Climate Visualizer has made thermal simulations available for users around the world in a user-friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI).
We know that engineers and architects use many different tools in their work, and we support many CAD formats with our two visualiser tools or via our BIM objects. We have developed a guide on how to correctly insert VELUX products in Integrated Environmental Solutions Virtual Environment (IES VE) – with a focus on daylight and indoor climate simulations.
