    All our electric and solar powered roof windows come with a rain sensor. The roof window will automatically close when it starts to rain – so you don’t have to worry about rain damaging your interior. A very useful feature, if you are busy, in another room, or not at home.

    How to clean your window

    How to clean your window

    To clean the outer pane, rotate the sash 180 degrees. The sash must be secured in position by sliding the barrel bolt into the bushing at the bottom of the side frame. The air filter can be removed and washed with ordinary household cleaners. Fully rotate and secure the window in cleaning position, then remove the filter from the filter rail.

    Aluminium

    All VELUX roof windows come with grey aluminium exterior covers. You may also select copper, titanium zinc or coloured aluminium.

    57F pane - Rain fall sound insulation

    Rain noise reduction, solar protection and easy-to-clean coating.

    66 pane - Energy efficiency glazing

    Laminated inner pane and triple glazed unit that offers an excellent level of rain and hail sound reduction. Enhanced energy efficiency and anti-dew coating to eliminate external condensation.

    70 pane - safety glazing
