Keep your building’s occupants safe with a rescue window that allows for easy escape in case of emergency. In addition to rescue features, this window offers outstanding panoramic views, and opens up to 45° to give you extra headroom. 

In some buildings, installation of rescue openings may be required. Roof windows with an opening angle of 67° are approved as rescue windows. GTL is available in pine finish. GTU comes in a white, maintenance-free finish.

    How to clean your window

    How to clean your window

    To clean the outer pane, rotate the sash 180 degrees. The sash must be secured in position by sliding the barrel bolt into the bushing at the bottom of the side frame. The air filter can be removed and washed with ordinary household cleaners. Fully rotate and secure the window in cleaning position, then remove the filter from the filter rail.

    Delivered in three different interior finish -  white-painted finish, pine finish and white maintenance-free finish

    White-painted roof windows are coated with a water-based laquer and white paint that protects the wood against dirt and moisture.

    Pine finish

    Pine finish roof windows are coated with a water-based clear lacquer that protects the wood against dirt and moisture.

    White maintenance-free finish

    Maintenance-free roof windows feature a strong core of thermo-modified wood with a seamless waterproof polyurethane coating.
  • Exterior finish
    All VELUX roof windows come with grey aluminium exterior covers. You may also select copper, titanium zinc or coloured aluminium.
