Applying to work at the VELUX Group should be a smooth and enjoyable process.

Your recruitment journey at the VELUX Group

  1. Application
    Start by visiting our job portal to explore open roles worldwide. You can filter by location, department or area of expertise. Applying via our official site ensures your data is handled securely and reaches the right recruiter.

    Before applying, read the job description carefully. If it feels like a match, send us your CV — if relevant you can apply for multiple roles. You’ll receive a confirmation email once your application is submitted.
  2. Initial call
    If your profile matches the role, we’ll reach out to schedule a short introductory call — typically around 30 minutes. This is your chance to ask questions and get a first impression of the role and the team. 
  3. Interview
    You’ll meet with the Hiring Manager and Recruitment Partner either in person or via Teams. We typically hold two rounds of interviews. The first round focuses on your experience and skills, and the second round explores your motivation and fit. During the second interview you may be asked to complete a personality or skills assessment.
  4. Contract
    If it’s a match, we move to the offer stage. Your Recruitment Partner will guide you through the contract details, which may vary by country. Once signed, your onboarding begins — we’re excited to welcome you to VELUX!

Can I apply for more than one job at a time?

Yes! Feel free to apply for multiple roles. You should submit a separate application for each position  we review them individually.

I didn’t find a suitable position – what now?

All open roles are listed on our job portal. We don’t accept unsolicited applications, so we recommend checking back regularly and applying when a relevant role appears here.

What language should I use in my application?

English is our corporate language, so we recommend submitting your application in English unless the job ad specifies otherwise for local positions.

Which documents should I include?

Please include your CV. You’re welcome to add a motivation letter or other relevant documents that showcase your skills and experience.

How long does the recruitment process take?

It varies by role and number of applicants. We aim for a smooth and timely process and will keep you informed throughout.

What happens to my personal data?

We handle all candidate data in line with GDPR. If your application is unsuccessful, your data will be securely stored for a limited time unless you’ve given consent for future opportunities. Read our Privacy Notice.
