An ideal way to add extra floor space

For the first time, the family decided to sell off part of the house. The current owners wanted to buy an atypical property in the Paris suburbs, a ‘fixer-upper’ that they could transform to reflect their personalities and lifestyle. The current house is divided into 5 apartments on 4 floors. This particular apartment was originally just a 2-room apartment on the 3rd floor beneath the house’s empty attic, an ideal way to add extra floor space.  

A natural choice

"It was a natural choice. We were looking for products that would integrate seamlessly into the pitched roof. We wanted to open the flat up onto the exterior without building a terrace–because it is a fairly atypical stone house in Meudon–and flood the interior with daylight. The result is amazing", says Anaïs, homeowner.
